Graduates from this course will be able to apply for third level education and can also progress to courses in sports injury or rehabilitation colleges like IT Carlow, CIT, LIT Letterkenny or Waterford and IT Tralee. Graduates will also achieve coaching certificates enabling them to enter the sports coaching, sports management, recreation and instruction workforce.

WHAT IS SPORTS INJURY PREVENTION AND MASSAGE THERAPY?
This one-year course will equip students with the knowledge and skills required for working within the area of sports injury prevention and sports massage therapy in the sports, coaching, recreation and leisure industries. Students will expand their education on the physiological principles related to sports massage and injury prevention. This course offers the potential to develop your studies onto third level education. Graduates will attain an internationally recognised qualification, ensuring that you have achieved to a QQI level 5 standard.
