What is a Business and Accounts Administration Course?
This course will suit school leavers and those going back to education who would like to work in a busy office in areas like bookkeeping, payroll or general accounts. If you have a flair for numbers and would like to work in the accounts section of a company or look after the accounts of a small business, then this is the course for you. While the course will prepare you for working in accounts it is also a suitable entry route for business in many IT colleges. Students can claim a business administration or and office administration qualification through this course.

This course also provides an excellent foundation for those wishing to pursue degree programmes in institutes of technology and universities or to obtain a place on level 6 business programmes. This course enables graduates to take up employment in any business sector, including legal, medical, commercial, financial and educational offices. Graduates may also progress to QQI Level 6 or advance to degree programmes in UCD, DIT, Maynooth University, Athlone IT, Blanchardstown IT, NUIG (Shannon), American College, Dun Laoghaire IADT. as well as a whole range of courses in other IT colleges around the country.
