PRE-UNIVERSITY LIBERAL ARTS GENERAL STUDIES 5M3114 OR LANGUAGE AND EUROPEAN STUDIES 5M2073
WHAT IS PRE-UNIVERSITY ARTS? This one-year course, similar to our other arts programme, aims to prepare participants for entrance into Arts programmes in Irish universities and colleges, as well as preparing students to work in a European environment both in Ireland and abroad. However, the Liberal Arts option attributes more of a focus on The Arts, English Literature and European languages. Students will have the option of taking a language, Irish or Spanish, along with European Studies or can focus on a more English Literature based course, which will lead to a general studies option.
COURSE CONTENT The following modules will be offered in 2021, subject to availability and demand: • Research and Study Skills • History • Communications • Work Experience • English Literature • Literary, Visual and Performing Arts • Psychology • Word Processing • Political Studies • European Studies • Language option • Philosophy
